Handbook for Official Observers

British Gliding Association

Handbook for Official Observers

ISSUED DEC 92

Provided courtesy of Ian Strachan

To be used in conjunction with the FAI Sporting Code Section 3 (Gliders and Motor Gliders), 1992 edition. Editor's Note: the links in this WWW version are to the current [ October 1995 ] version of Section 3, and the paragraph numbers may not always be correct.

This document needs updating to take Amendment 3 to the Code into account, and the used of GPS for badges and records.

Amendment List (AL) Record

Formal amendments are published by the BGA and are prepared by the Competitions and Awards Committee

When holders of this Guide have incorporated an amendment in the main text, they should insert a copy of the amendment list instructions after this page, so that at a later date, the subjects of the amendment may easily be identified. Where a whole page is replaced by a pre-printed amended page, the Edition and AL number concerned will be printed in the bottom left corner of each page, so that a page check will quickly reveal whether a copy of this document is amended up to date. This copy was printed in Feb 93 and contains some small corrections compared with the Dec 92 version, particularly to the small table on Page 11.
