Eichhorn received repeatedly the sames messages from my mailer (I suspect these messages being sent again but I had no trace of it and could not be aware of it) ****************************** St-Auban, 3rd July 1997 Yesterday's bulletin Today's weather : moderate south flow brings moist air still in front of a trough from Spain to the low over British Islands No local sounding was possible because of bad weather conditions ; cloudiness is expected to remain important throughout the day ; some sunshine in the afternoon may give thunderstorms due to instable air mass. The day was cancelled early this morning ; tomorrow will still be bad, as the front is moving very slowly, and all pilots are not very happy to be forced on ground ! Anyway there is still a little hope for tomorrow, and Saturday (if METEO-FRANCE computers are not wrong ;-), north-west wind (Mistral) will be blowing, which in the southern alps is synonim of clear skies due to foehn effect, slope, wave and thermal lift together, with still rain to the north of Die - Briançon. And the anticyclon should move from the Atlantic ocean to our area which could bring us better and better weather for the next week ! So hope is still permitted... Tomorrow's weather : Persistency of the south westerly flow with still moist air and very unstable airmass. MONDIAL VISION n° 3 : find the complete daily bulletin on website each day !
