Each club member is expected to perform 6 hours work per month
doing either (Instructing, tugging, timekeeping, maintainance)
or pay $5 US per hour in lieu of this.

TEMAN Airfield is Situated 100km south of Tel-Aviv
and 7 km west of Beer-Sheva, Israel

In Israel there are 4 gliding clubs: The Negev in TEMAN, EIN SHEMER next
to HADERA in the center of Israel, MEGIDO next to AFULA in the north,
and MACHANAYIM in ROSH PINA airport in the far North.
They all are part of the Aero Club of Israel, a member of FAI.
One needs a Pilots licence - gliders to fly gliders in Israel. It takes a
few months to validate a licence from over seas.
Gliding is possible on Fridays, Saturdays and Holidays only.
