Situation: A ridge of high pressure exends across NZ as an anticyclone
over the Tasman Sea moves slowely eastwards.

Forecast: Fine weather with notmuch cloud and light winds.  Easterly
developing at Omarama from mid afternoon.

Soaring: Moderate thermals developingmainly about the ranges.  No
significant wave or ridge lift.
