Lava Cactus or Banana Cactus (Brachycereus nesioticus, french: Lava cactus) on Isla Bartolomé. Named after the color and shape of its branches. It is one of the early colonizers of new volcanoes. It is endemic to the Galápagos Islands. (808k)
