Today looked to be quite an improvement over yesterday. The inversion cap appeared to be lifting, and we had a higher temperature, reaching 93 degrees, opposed to 90 yesterday. there were few cumulus, but several were popping at the end of the day. The task was a 2.5 hour PST, which was declared in the air. Today we had the majority of the pilots make it back, and Paul Gaisford won his first national contest day. Gaisford, a native of England is having a good showing. Walker retained his lead and Byrd moved into second.
